AMMOPHILA BREVILIGULATA

"Dune
Grass"
Dune Grass has traditionally been planted in the Fall and Spring when the
plants are dormant. At this time small bare root pieces are dug from inland sand
hills and replanted from 6 to 8 inches deep in the new spot. We have also
developed a small potted plant that can be planted in the summer. This plant has
a full mature look right from the start.
The best part of a Dune Grass landscape is that it literally takes no
maintenance once it is established.
It is popular along Lake Michigan, inland lakes, swimming pools and around
homes where the owner doesn't want to spend the time and money necessary to
maintain a traditional landscape.
"No mowing" means it is also pollution free!
